On your storefront
An Ask our expert button on every page opens a panel titled with your shop’s name: <Your shop> expert. Shoppers ask what they’d ask your floor staff, and get a specific answer.
Your catalog, sizes, live stock and current offers. It doesn’t recommend what you can’t ship.
It sees the page they’re on and what’s in their cart, so it knows which size they already picked.
Image, size or color, price, and an add-to-cart button, right in the conversation.
Answers in the language they write in; storefront texts come in 13 languages. Product names, sizes, prices and codes stay exact.
- Now and then it asks “Was this helpful?”, in one conversation out of three, and only once. If the answer is no, it asks what was missing, and that goes straight to you.
Built from your store’s knowledge
General-purpose AI knows a little about every store. Your twin knows yours, because it is built from what you know, and every answer is grounded in your live store. It is not a generic assistant with a product feed pasted in.
What you tell it comes first, ahead of anything else it has read. Answer a question once and it knows.
Your store policies and published pages, imported and filed with the rest of its knowledge.
It searches the public web for what reviewers and customers say about your shop and products. You see each finding with its source; it uses only the ones you accept.
Everything is filed by topic and linked to the products it’s about, so you can see what it knows and where. A tidy-up finds duplicates.
They come to you as open questions. Answer once, and every shopper after gets that answer.
Prices, stock and offers come live from your store on every answer, not from memory.

- On the page. Agents that browse your store use the twin like a person would: open it, ask, add to cart.
- An Ask our expert page on your own domain (
/apps/sqrly/ask). A plain form and a full answer page with products and add-to-cart. It works without JavaScript, agents can open…/ask?q=with their question, and follow-ups continue the conversation. - Site tools through WebMCP, an emerging web standard. Next to Shopify’s own storefront tools (search the catalog, add to cart, check out), the twin adds three: ask the product expert, apply an offer, rate an answer. The ChatGPT desktop app’s built-in browser uses them today; other assistants can as they add support.
Your offers, from Shopify Discounts
The twin reads your offers straight from Shopify Discounts: automatic discounts and codes open to all customers. Nothing to set up twice.
When an offer fits what the shopper is buying, the twin says so, with the condition that applies.
Codes are applied at checkout when the cart qualifies. You can keep any code private, and the twin won’t mention it.
What you see
Inside the app in your Shopify admin, you see what shoppers ask, what the twin recommends, and what it led to.
Conversations against the week before, shopper questions, add-to-carts and checkouts. What was asked most, recommended most and added to cart most, how helpful shoppers found it, and which answers to improve.
Every transcript, marked by channel: storefront, Expert page or AI agent. For each: add-to-cart, checkout started, and confirmed revenue if you allow read access to orders.

Access and privacy
- For you: at install the app asks to read products and inventory only. Discounts, pages and policies, and orders are optional and asked for in the app when you turn on the feature that needs them. Everything is read-only, and nothing in your theme changes beyond the app embed you switch on.
- For shoppers: conversations are kept for your store, with no tracking cookies and no name or email asked. Details in our privacy policy.

- Is it a model trained on my store?
- No. The digital twin is built from your knowledge: your own answers, your store’s pages and policies, and the web findings you approve. Every answer is grounded in your live catalog, stock and offers. It gets better through answers you approve, not through training.
