Your AI-readiness score

What the AI-readiness score measures, why it moves up or down, and how to raise it.

Docs / Getting started

Your score is a single number that summarizes how ready your store is to be found, understood, and recommended by AI assistants.

What the score measures

It combines two things: how machine-readable your store is — can assistants and buyer agents actually read your products, policies, and identifiers? — and how you're currently doing in real assistant answers: do they know you, and do they recommend you when a shopper asks without naming you?

Why it moves

The score changes as you fix things and as the world around you moves. Publishing a missing policy or adding barcodes can raise it; a competitor pulling ahead, or an assistant starting to get a fact wrong about you, can pull it down. Every movement is recorded in your change feed with a plain-English note about what happened.

How to raise it

Work the prioritized "next moves" list — most items are free to do, and each shows the effort and the reason it matters. For the biggest moves, Pulse drafts the fix for you — a ready-to-use llms.txt, corrected page copy, or an outreach pitch — that you review and edit before anything goes live; nothing is published to your store automatically. Because Pulse re-scans on a schedule, you'll see the effect of a fix on a later scan, often within a month, and the dashboard links the two together.
