The bottom corner of a store is crowded. A rewards program, a help widget and your expert all want the same spot, and two buttons stacked on top of each other look like an accident. With Share the corner, your expert's button and your rewards button become one pill: one half opens your expert, the other half opens your rewards program, exactly as before.
It works with Smile rewards programs out of the box. For anything else, the second half can be a link of your choice, for example to your order tracking page.
Set it up
In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize on your live theme. Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar and open sqrly digital twin.
- Make sure Where shoppers open it is set to A button in the corner, on every page. (Share the corner joins the corner button; with "Only where I place it" there's no corner button to join.)
- Under Share the corner with, choose Your Smile rewards program.
- Leave Second button text empty to show "Rewards" in each shopper's language, or write your own, for example "Member perks".
- Click Save.
Open your store and reload. Smile's own Rewards button is gone, and the pill in the corner reads "Ask our expert | Rewards". Click Rewards: Smile's panel opens, just as it did from Smile's button.
To use a link instead, choose A link of your choice, write the button text, and paste the link.
How it behaves
- One panel at a time. If a shopper has your expert open and clicks Rewards, your expert's panel closes and Smile's opens.
- Nothing breaks if Smile isn't there. On pages where Smile doesn't load, or if you uninstall it, the pill doesn't form and shoppers see your expert's button alone. If you switch your expert off, Smile's own button comes back.
- Smile stays Smile. Points, sign-in and rewards all live in Smile's panel; sqrly only opens it. If your store has Smile's JavaScript SDK turned on, sqrly opens the panel through it; otherwise through Smile's own panel link.
- Your colors. Both halves use your expert's accent color and your store's font, if you chose it. Pick the same color as your rewards program and they read as one button.
- AI shopping agents see two clearly labeled buttons, and still find your expert through the description and links on every page, as before.
